La fusión del Uruguay con India en una hermosa Boda
En nuestros eventos donde brindamos servicios de Barman a veces suceden cosas que catalogamos de únicas, que nos permiten enriquecernos e ir aprendiendo cosas del mundo, las diferentes culturas y con eso vamos cultivando nuestra visión que se va moldeando y adaptando a cada situación.
En enero de este año asistimos a la boda de Lilian una chica Uruguaya, con Roop un chico Indio.
La apertura de dicha boda la realizamos con los novios quienes hicieron los cócteles que consideramos con mayor dificultad dentro del mundo de la coctelería, los llamados: Pousse Café, que también se los conoce como cócteles Bandera. A Lilián le toco realizar la bandera India, para lo cual tuvo que poner 3 licores en tres franjas, verde, blanca y naranja azafrán y a Roop le tocó hacer la Uruguaya para lo cual hizo 4 franjas, 2 blancas y dos celestes. La dificultad de estos cócteles es justamente el pulso que hay que tener para que durante la elaboración no se mezclen los licores y se formen las franjas de las banderas, a pesar de no haber hecho nunca un cóctel ninguno de los dos novios y con los nervios que implica estar en el día más emocionante para una pareja, podemos decir que dicha pareja se llevó un 12!! Luego fue muy hermoso verlos tomar juntos, cruzando sus brazos y realizando un brindis muy especial donde las dos culturas se fusionaro

Durante la fiesta, donde había muchos invitados de parte de Roop, por lo tanto eran Indios, nos llamó mucho la atención la forma que tenían de bailar, donde en la mayoría de los casos los hombres se agrupaban y realizaban coreografías de mucho ritmo que a nuestros ojos resultaban un tanto extrañas. Luego con algunas tomas que realizamos de vídeo pudimos resumir de alguna manera la fiesta y le dimos especial lugar a varias partes de dicho baile en el mismo, quedándoos con la intriga de el origen de dichos pasos donde los bailarines dejaban todo su ímpetu.
Investigando un poco vimos que dicho ritmo obedecía a una moda que está instalada desde hace tiempo en India a la que le llaman Bollywood, nombre informal que surge de la fusión de la palabra Bombay (lugar donde está instalada la industria cinematográfica india) con Hollywood. Este estilo de cine tiene como principal característica las escenas de baile, el cual a su vez es una mezcla de danzas típicas del país con coreografías de pop occidental. En dicho baile vemos mucho del Bhangra, un estilo de baile campesino que se remonta a los 2000 años antes de cristo y proviene de la región del norte de india, Panyab. Este estilo se popularizó entre los agricultores y no es otra cosa que la celebración de las cosechas y el agradecimiento tanto a la tierra (por eso en el baile se usa mucho las piernas) y al cielo y por eso también el uso de los brazos.
En nuestras retinas quedo grabado a fuego dicha coreografía en varias partes de la boda a la cual asistimos y si bien en algunos casos nos era conocida (cuando tenías “tintes” de pop) en otras nos resultaba extraña.

Este ritmo para resumirlo en una palabra podríamos decir que es “Intenso”, que otorga alegría, vitalidad y ellos consideran que eleva el alma y fortalece el Aura, estimulando ambos hemisferios cerebrales, otorgando además por su carácter aeróbico y coordinación seguramente un muy buen tono muscular con la práctica.
Esta danza está muy de moda en India y se utiliza en muchas celebraciones, discotecas, club y esta vez también se utilizó como regalo de los amigos del novio a la Pareja y al resto de los invitados que supimos apreciar con especial interés.
Agradezco a la pareja por invitarnos a ser testigos de tan hermosa boda, de poder aprender esta cultura que como vemos tiene muchos aspectos interesantes que desconocemos y que seguramente podremos apartir de ahora ir sumando a nuestro aprendizaje.
